Welcome to Blaisdell Lake!

The Wright's Beach Boat Launch - located on Rt. 114 - is available to the public for boat inspections May through September from 8 AM to 4 PM. After your boat has been inspected, you will be given a temporary PIN code to open the gate when you leave. BLPA members and Seasonal Boat Launch members with PIN codes may access the boat launch at any time.

The Blaisdell Lake Protective Association relies on Weed Watch volunteers to check boats that launch from this location in order to keep invasive plants and animals out of the lake. A Smart Lock has been installed on the boat launch gate in order to ensure that our volunteers can inspect all boats for invasive species prior to launch. 

In order to launch your boat from the Blaisdell Lake Wright’s Beach location, please:

  1. If you are not a BLPA member, download our Release of Liability Form, sign it, and bring it with you to the launch

  2. Fill out all sections of the form below, including the date and time you plan to launch

  3. Bring payment with you to the launch. The cost to launch a motorized boat is $15 and non-motorized is $5. This nominal fee helps pay for our boat launch insurance.

  4. Please make sure your boat has been cleaned, drained and dried prior to your arrival. If you have questions about the proper way to clean your boat, please click on the Weed Watch tab of our website.

  5. When you arrive at the beach, call or text the Weed Watch volunteer on duty at (781) 281-9980 and (s)he will come to the boat launch to inspect your boat.

  • *Non-Motorized Watercraft -  $5.00 per launch (* Kayak, canoe, sailfish, SUP or other watercraft with no motor)

  • Seasonal Pass
    -    $35 annually for non-motorized boats – allows unlimited launch access - no beach use
    - $75 annually for motorized boats – allows unlimited launch access - no beach use
